listening to leeland

went in planning to buy some travis cottrell or the new matt redman and walked out with leeland. got as far as track 5 and that's where i've been for a while - it's called 'carry me on your back'. some lyrics: "...and i lift my eyes to see, heaven's fighting for me...". it's just where i'm at and i sense it to be one of those songs that can minister you through a season.



scriptures i've been pondering while listening:

Psalm 16:11 - "You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand."

Ephesians 3:18-20 - "And may you have the power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us."
